GADGETS
Since windows launched VISTA they introduced GADGETS, these are small applications on your desktop that can show the weather, time and various other programs.
Odyssey developed two GADGETS that you can download. the purpose of these are to help you get quick access to values without having to log into the system through the browser.
The purpose of the Odyssey CM gadgets is to give users quick access to certain functions without having to first open your browser, log into your account and then having to navigate to the orders etc.
Sales Gadget, showing sales statistics for users and supervisors. Also available on smart phones.
Office gadget, showing orders and quotes for office administrative people.
After installing the Gadget you can right click on the windows desktop and choose "gadgets" from the dropdown menu. Click the installed odyssey crm gadget, a new small screen like shown below will appear on your desktop.
Click the setting icon as you hover the mouse over gadgets. The system requires your user name and password as well as the company URL found (URL not required for the sales gadget) in the General system settings.
Copy and paste the Office URL into the gadget system settings to enable your direct link to orders and various functionality.
