The top section of our quotation screen display various information about the customer and the quote layout.

Quote Template

In odyssey we allow you to create multiple quotation templates. Before you save the new quotation, select the stationary to use for this quote layout.

Discount Type

You can either give a percentage or a rand value discount on line items. There are only one discount block per line item and you need to specify if this is a value or percentage.

Attach a catalogue

Odyssey can automatically create a catalogue of the items on the quotation. Each item on the quotation that has the property set as a catalogue item, with a picture and long description will be added to a newly created PDF file that attaches itself to the quotation.

Attach Company profile

Odyssey allow you to create a nice company profile. Add pictures, and photos with all relevant history and accomplishments of the company onto a profile sheet.

Every time you create a new quotation you can add the company profile to the quotation PDF file.

Print Quote Values

This is a very nice feature and allow sales people to specify the layout of values printed on the quotation.

Normal - Print the quotation with all the line items and prices per line item. Totals are then displayed at the bottom.
Totals Only - Print all the line items, but no prices. this quotation only prints the total value of quote at the bottom.
None - Print all the line items, but no prices, no totals at the bottom. This quote layout only display the month payment/rental at the bottom without any totals.

Estimated closing date

For the cash flow projection reports, it is important for the sales people to show / indicate the possible closing date of this deal.

Predefined Quote Template

In the top right corner we find previously save quotation templates. to make it easier and faster to quote, you can save predefined layouts.

Sales people can then simply edit or change to suit the new client without having to redo the whole quote.
