Rentals allow you to calculate the monthly installments for the items quoted. On the RENTAL tab you can specify the number of months. These are pre-determined by your supervisor depending on the number of installments allowed. In our example above we clicked on 36 months and the system calculated the monthly installments as required.
Split Payments
As shown above, the system will split the payment amounts equally over the selected three months. He / She can then click on the date boxes to specify the dates for each payments.
Through the system settings you can set the number of payment splits allowed. In the sample above we only allow the sales people to split to a maximum of three months or payments.
Note : You can set from 2 to 12 split payments.
Depending on how your system was initial installed, you will be allowed to split payments on the quotation. In our example we indicated that the split must be over three months. The system is set up to indicate a 50% of total invoice as the deposit and the balance divided into three equal payments.
When done you can click the CREATE/UPDATE button you will be redirected to the Opportunity page. Here you can now work with all quotes related to this opportunity as well as track the progress/stage of the deal process.
NOTE: When creating new contacts you can select price 1,2 or 3 to be linked to each contact. This allows us to supply retail, wholesale, etc customers. So if you selected a contact linked to price 2, your stock list will reflect price 2 during this creation process. If there is no price 2 entered on your stock items, Odyssey will default to price 1.
